Canoe/Kayak racing in Spain is almost as big as Football and competing at the Championship of Spain is nothing short of a big deal.

This year’s event in Sevilla saw the largest number of women canoeists to date and they did not disappoint.

Women Canoe

Women competed in the Cadet (ages 14-16), Junior (ages 17-18) and Senior (over 18) categories, with Junior Antía Jácome posting the fastest time over the 5000 meter course in her singles canoe (C1).
